Funeral services for Shirley J. Clark, 78, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Estate, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Thursday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Clark died Tuesday, September 13, 2011, while vacationing with her husband, Harold, in Shipshewana, IN. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, IL or Breast Cancer Research. Shirley was born April 17, 1933 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of William and Edith Vedell Warren. She married Harold Clark August 20, 1954 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Island. She had been a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. She collected purses and shoes. She enjoyed bowling. She had been a loving homemaker, who loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Harold Clark of East Moline; children, Mark (Terri) Clark of Silvis, Diane (Gary) Andrew of East Moline; grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Clark, Daniel Clark, Jeramie Andrew, and Melissa Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ruby and Kloie Clark; sister, Gloria (Al) Fortin of Moline.
