Shirley J. Dow, 96, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence. Per her wishes a private graveside service will be held at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shirley was born on April 28, 1930, in Davenport, the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (Williams) Schultz. She married Keith Dow on August 4, 1964, in Moline, he preceded her in passing February 22, 2021. She retired from K-Mart as a purchasing agent. Shirley was an excellent seamstress making dresses and clothing for neighbors, friends and family. She also enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, and keeping all weather activities logged in her journal.

Shirley is survived by her children Nancy Horton, East Moline and Mike (Julie) Williams, Davenport; step-children, Christie Dixon, Moline and Toni Pogue, East Moline; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Darlene Schultz, Pat (Dale) Church, and Carrol Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Dow; son, Daniel Hendricks; sisters, Beverly McBee and Marilyn Boone; son-in-law, Randy Horton; and step sons-in-law, Ralph Dixon and Charles Pogue.
