Shirley M. Koehler, 79, Andover, formerly of East Moline, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at her home. Funeral services are 3PM Saturday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline. Private family committal will be on Monday at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is from 1PM until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she was a member or to Bethesda Home, Watertown, WI. Shirley Peterman was born on February 22, 1935 in Bonduel, WI, the daughter of Herbert and Hertha (Boettcher) Peterman. She married Robert H. Koehler on April 30, 1955 in Bonduel. Shirley enjoyed reading and was a lifetime member of of the Illini Hospital Auxillary. Survivors include her husband Robert, daughter, Lori (Jeff) Fones, Galesburg, IL, son, Mark (Staci) Koehler, Sherrard, IL, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her sister Marjorie (Gordon) Ainsworth, Bonduel. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Jeannie, Lois and Janice.
