Funeral services for Shirley M. Mayberry, 82, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Mayberry died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Shirley Shrader was born February 17, 1930 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Frank and Marie Johnson Shrader. She married Raymond Mayberry June 12, 1948 at the First Methodist Church, East Moline. He died May 21, 2004. She had worked as a home health care aid for the former Roosevelt Square, Silvis, IL, and a loving homemaker. Shirley had been a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She especially enjoyed vacationing with her family and being together during the holidays. Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Dave) Pieper, Columbia, Falls, MT, Karen (Leo) Elder, East Moline, and Diane Mayberry, East Moline; grandchildren, Jill, Jody, Neal, Lori, Tad, Christy, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Marie, Morgan, Evian, Corbin, Kyle, Luke, Jayden, Richie, and Christopher; sister, Jean Kaskadden, Rock Island, IL; brother, Kenneth (Marian) Shrader, OR.
