Spencer J.L. Crum, infant son of Dustin and Alyssa (Crane) Crum, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in Rock Island at home.

A memorial visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Spencer was born August 28, 2023 in Silvis, IL.

He is survived by his parents, Dustin and Alyssa, of Rock Island; siblings, Hunter Pine, Rosemary Bennett, and Mason Crum, all of Rock Island; maternal grandparents; Joe and Brandi Goff, Milan; paternal grandfather, Rick Meirhaeghe (Denise Stutzel), Milan; paternal great-grandmother, Karen Crum, East Moline; maternal great-grandparents; Cody Crane, East Moline and Pam (Darrell) Goff, Hampton; great aunt, Jody Paup; great uncle, Scott Thomas; aunts and uncles, Isabella Crane, Christopher Crane, Nicholas Geilenkirchen, Ashley Goff and Collin Goff; godparents, Troy Hahn and MoeNeisha Kent; and numerous cousins and other family.

Spencer was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Denise Geilenkirchen; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Crum; and two uncles, Joshua Goff and Brandon Crane.
