Stacey M. Penderson, 39, Hampton, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at her home. Memorial services are 6PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is from 4-6 PM Monday. Private family committal will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be left for her son. Stacey was born on October 12, 1978 in Silvis, the daughter of David and Shelley (Phelps) Penderson Sr. She graduated from UTHS in 1996 and attended Black Hawk College. She held various jobs but her greatest joy, was being a mom to her son Michael. She loved attending his sporting events, especially basketball games. Survivors include her son Michael Merrick Jr., her parents, David and Shelley Penderson Sr., Hampton, sister, Sandra (Dan) Clark, Coal Valley, brother David (Dana) Penderson Jr., Colona, aunts, Carol (William) Hamerly, Patricia Vincent and Vicki (Paul) Bergheger and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
