Stacie R. Ringier, 55, of East Moline, IL, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Peoria, IL.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Stacie was born May 4, 1968, in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of Francis and Judy Thorp Meirhaeghe. She graduated from Moline High School in 1987. She married Donald L. Ringier on July 6, 1990 in Rock Island.

Stacie worked at the former Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley and then for Hope Creek Care Center, Moline, for many years. She retired in 2022.

She enjoyed crafting and gardening. Some of her favorite times were those spent making memories with friends and family.

Surviving are her husband, Donald, of East Moline; daughters, Brittany Ringier, East Moline and Morgan Ringier, Moline; grandson, Gavin Ringier; parents, Francis and Judy Meirhaeghe, Coal Valley, IL; brothers, Rick Meirhaeghe, Milan, IL, and Eric (Tanya) Meirhaeghe, Rock Island; nephews and niece, Tyler, Austin, and Mackenzie Meirhaeghe; and sister-in-law, Joyce Elaine DeCastecker, East Moline.

Stacie was preceded in death by her grandparents.
