Stanley E. Humble, 63, Silvis, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island. Visitation is 5-7 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, come as you are. Private interment will be in Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Stanley was born on August 7, 1953, the son of Lloyd and Mamie (Heck) Humble. He had been married to Carolyn Brandon. Stan had worked for Servus Rubber, Rock Island, and Tyson Foods Inc., Joslin, Illinois.  He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and going to the Conservation Club. He prided himself on eating at nearly every restaurant in the Quad-Cities. Survivors include step-children, Thomas (Amanda) Bibby, Long Grove and Beverly Leibold, Eldridge, six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother, David Johnson, and special friends, Omega Roden, Roy and Bill Burkland, Ray Parker and Jay Elliott. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jean Marie Humble.
