Stanley "Stan" K. Moore, 73, of East Moline, IL, passed away Friday December 9, 2022 at Genesis-Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, IL., where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Stanley was born October 16, 1949 in Moline, IL, a son of William "Kenny" and Dorothy Hamm Moore. He married Marianne Brown on October 22, 1989 in Moline.

Stan worked at Rock Island Lumber and Mfg. Co., Project Now and Carver Woodworking prior to his retirement.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Moline. Stan enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening and going to yard sales .

Surviving are his wife, Marianne, of East Moline; son, Stan (Bonnie) Moore, Jr.; stepson, Erich (Courtney) Veigel; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Vicky) Moore, Moline; and several nieces and nephews and other family.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Moore; and father and mother-in-law, Harold and Ruby Brown, and several aunts and uncles to whom he was very close.
