Stella (Hunt) Baptist, 96, Silvis, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Private family services will be held and burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona, where she was a member.

Stella Cicco was born on April 6, 1924 in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Gillietto) Cicco. She married Damon Hunt and together they had 3 children. She married Wilbur Baptist on June 19, 1969. He died November 24, 1998. Stella had worked for the former Arlan's and the Rock Island Arsenal. She enjoyed bowling, working her puzzle books and an occasional trip to the local casinos. She loved being around people.

Survivors include her children; Don (Carolyn) Hunt, East Moline, Nancy Cottingham (Chuck), Colona and Linda (Clark) King, Colona, step-children, Peggy Mullen and Richard Baptist, grandchildren, Donnie, David, Dean, Lana, Cliff, Clark, and Steve, great grandchildren; Daisy, Ethan, Evan, Andrew, Ashley, Madeline, Ben, Allison and Andrew, great-great-grandchildren A.J. And Annabelle and sister Phyllis Clayworth, Iowa.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Donnie Joe, siblings, and step-son, Joe Baptist
