Funeral services for Stella Marie Cuvele, 95, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., where a rosary will be recited at 4:30PM. Mrs. Cuvele died Sunday, December 25, 2005 at Heartland Health Care, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church East Moline, where she had been a member. Stella Jaecques was born October 12, 1910 in East Moline, IL, the daughter of Emiel and Aurelia (Monstrey) Jaecques. She married Rene Cuvele, September 9, 1931 in Rapids City, IL. He died January 2, 1984. She had been a member of the St. Mary's Altar & Rosary Society. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene Burge of East Moline, IL, Marilyn and Lloyd Staab of East Moline, IL, Theresa and Ronald DeSmet of East Moline, IL; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson; brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Margaret Jaecques of Moline, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 sisters; 1 brother; granddaughter, Debra Sheley; sons-in-law, Paul Burge and Robert Sheley.
