Stella Denys, 91, Silvis, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Aspen Care, Silvis. Private services will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Stella was born April 19, 1920 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Gustaf and Madeline Bylo Denys. She retired as a draftsman at the former John Deere Spreader. She is survived by nieces Barbara Knox, Silvis, Susan Sparacello, Moline, nephews, Raymond Denys, Silvis, Steve Denys and Craig Denys, both of Colona and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Emil and a nephew Scott.
