Funeral services for Stella Ligino Malcolm, 105, formerly of East Moline, will be 11:00 AM Friday at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Stella died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Heritage Health, Chillicothe, IL. Stella Ligino Malcolm was born August 29, 1909 in Lika, Serbia the daughter of Dane and Helen Pokrajac Ligino. She lived in East Moline for over 90 years. She was an avid reader and loved gardening. She worked at a variety of jobs in her lifetime and last worked for her brother Dan at the Dairy Queen in East Moline. Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Fangman, Peoria, IL; son, Gary (Jan) Malcolm, Jackson, WI; grandchildren: Kirsten (Steve) Klug, West Bend, WI, Jeff (Bonnie) Schilling, La Fayette, IL, Dan (Kim) Schilling, Edwards, IL, Kristine (Tony) Dinkins, Washington, IL, and Scott (Teresa) Schilling, East Peoria, IL; 9 great grandchildren;16 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents Dane and Helen Ligino; son, Jean Malcolm; sisters, Emily, Sadie, and Sophie; brothers, Eli, Mike, Steve, Dan, and Louis; great-great-grandson, Lucas.
