Graveside services for Steven Liedtke, 58, of Rock Island. IL, will be 1:00pm Friday at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30-12:30 Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside services should be at the funeral home by 12:30. Steve died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Iowa City VA Health Care System, Iowa City. Steve was born October 18, 1959, in Moline, IL, the son of Donald Lee and and Marilyn Higbee Liedtke. He served in the U.S. Army and worked at the Rock Island Arsenal. Survivors include his mother, Marilyn (Howard) Cowman, Port Charlotte, FL; father, Donald Liedtke, Gulf Port, MS; siblings, Michael (Debbie) Liedtke, Orlando, FL, Richard (Rhonda) Liedtke, Deerfield, IL, Pam (John) Keck, Rock Island, IL, Teresa (Ty) Anderson, Clearwater, FL; half brothers, Greg Liedtke, Gulf Port, and Scott Liedtke, Mexico; step brother, David Ransdell, Jurupa Valley, CA; step sister, Theresa (George) Guthrie, East Moline; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Liedtke. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
