Steven I. Warner, 73, of Silvis, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at his home in Silvis.

In accordance with Steven’s wishes his family will host a Celebration of Life in his honor 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1st, at the East Moline American Legion, Post 227, East Moline. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Steven was born September 12, 1952, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a son of Jackson and Dorothy (Maston) Warner. He married Katherine “Katie” Dobbels in February 10,1982 in Moline, IL.

Steven was a proud US Army veteran. He was a talented mechanic and body repairman for many years.

Steven was a avid racing fan, fisherman, and poker player. He enjoyed watching football on Sunday’s and playing solitaire.

Survivors include his wife, Katie, of Silvis; children, Josh (Jessica) Warner, Carbon Cliff, Andrew (Jennifer) Warner, Colona, Christopher Warner, Silvis, Jason Warner, Silvis, and Callie (Logan) Heydeman, Colona; grandchildren, Aurora, Jade, Madison, Hudson, Kippton, Emmarie, Starr, Jera, Yezabelle, Tyde, August, Connor, Zoey and Archer; and great-grandchildren, Korra and Amora.

He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Warner; parents, Jackson and Dorothy; and a half-sister.
