Sue Barefoot, 63, Silvis, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Funeral services are 11 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Hampton Township Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Sue Pierson was born on June 10, 1950 in Rock Island, the daughter of William and Sarah (White) Pierson. She had worked at the Moline Dispatch. She married Jackie Arrington Barefoot on March 29, 2003 in Moline. Sue enjoyed collecting horses, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandkids. Survivors include her husband Jackie, children, Virginia Munson, Moline, Todd (Jamie) Noack, DeWitt, IA, Donna (David) Kelly, Moline, step children Velvet Langston, Rock Island and James Barefoot, Dubuque, IA, 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and her brother James Pierson, Silvis.
