Susan K. Singleton, 54, of Moline, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2026, at her home.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned at this time. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Active Day Adult Day Health Center of Moline.

Susan was born March 14, 1972, in Moline, Illinois, to Kenneth H. and Eleanor K. (Hirth) Smith. She graduated from East Peoria High School, Class of 1990.

She married Willie R. Singleton on February 16, 2004 in Peoria, IL.

Susan was a lunch para at John Deere Middle School, Moline, and a loving wife, mom, and homemaker for her family whom she adored.

She enjoyed working with the students at John Deere Middle School, baking, flower gardening, and caring for her cats. She never knew a stranger. Her favorite times were those spent with family and friends making memories. Susan loved her boys fiercely and always enjoyed following their sports activities, where she proudly was their number one fan.

Those left to honor her memory, are her husband, Willie, of Moline; sons, Aiden, Caleb, and Kaden Singleton, all of Moline; mother, Eleanor Smith, of East Moline; siblings, Mike (Deb) Smith, Moline, Linda (Rick) Woods, Silvis, and Jamie (Debby) Smith, Urbandale, IA; and a niece and numerous nephews, cousins and their families.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth.

Susan’s family wishes to express a Special Thank You to Amy Iams and all the staff at Active Day of Moline, for their many kindnesses and care.
