Susanne S. Symons, 76, Port Byron, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Aspen, Silvis. Graveside services are 12 PM Tuesday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Susanne was born on September 10, 1945 in Harvey, IA, the daughter of Floyd and Virginia Huntley. She graduated from Riverdale High School. Susanne married Stanley Symons on April 11, 1965 in Rock Island. She was an avid reader.

Survivors include her husband Stanley, daughter, Sonia Symons, grandsons, Shane Bohannon and Patrick Bohannon.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott on November 27, 2021.
