Memorial services for Ted Bohnert, 65, of Erie, IL, will be 7:00PM Tuesday September 24, 2024, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM prior to services, where a rosary will be recited at 6:45.

Mr. Bohnert passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his home.

Ted was born November 17, 1958, the son of Lester and Elvera Sundine Bohnert. He married Marci (Godfrey) Anderson May 24, 1996, in Las Vegas, NV. He had worked for Mutual Wheel Company, Moline, IL, for 38 years, retiring in 2021.

Ted loved caring for animals on his hobby farm. He was a proud grandfather who'll be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Marci; sons, Brandon (Stephanie) Bohnert, Milan, IL, and Ryan (Randi Jo) Bohnert, Colona, IL; step children, Mike (Amiee) Anderson, Erie, and Teresa (Troy) Johnson, Orange Grove, TX; grandchildren, 5 grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Hudson, Bristol, and Brantley; 2 step-grandchildren, Marrissa Anderson and Jack Anderson; 3 step great grandchildren, Jax, Kaylee, and Vivian; siblings, Beverly (Ed) Stoneburg, AZ, Jim (Wanda) Bohnert, East Moline, his twin, Theresa (Doug) Gowdy, Aledo, IL, and Lester (Becky) Bohnert, East Moline; sisters-in-law, Georgia Bohnert, OH, Vivian Powers, Big Springs, TX, Ellen (Ken) Boersen, Muscatine, IA; brother-in-law, Darrel Liedtke, East Moline; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Betty Reeter, John Bohnert, and Pat Liedtke; and nephew, Daniel Liedtke;
