Teresa Maria Rasso, 59, East Moline, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Visitation is 4-7 PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Teresa was born August 8, 1952 in Michucan, Mexico, the daughter of Salvador and Florencia (Jimenez) Romo. She graduated from Moline High School. She married George Rasso on September 2, 1972 in Rock Island. Teresa had worked at the former Y&S Candies, Moline, Thomas Outdoor Lighting and most recently at Highland Pack in Colona. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, bike riding and flower gardening. Survivors include her husband George, her son Nicholas, Silvis, sister Maria Romo, Moline, her mother Florencia Jimenez de Roma and siblings, Martha, Erendira, Esperanza, Christina, Claudia, Salvador, Paco and Rocio all of Guadalajara, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her father and brother Alex.
