Terry Trask, 52, Moline, died Monday, May 24, 2010 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. A memorial gathering will be held from 5-6PM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, with a time of sharing beginning at 6PM. The Terry D. Trask Memorial fund has been set up at any QC area IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union. Terry was born February 21, 1958 in Moline, the son of Jackie D. and Jeanne (Davidson) Trask. He married Peggy Lundeen on February 14, 1986 at South Park Mall, Moline. Terry had worked as a service agent at National Car Rental for 35 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan especially Mark Martin. He loved music, was extremely knowledgeable of song titles and was fondly referred to as the music man. He enjoyed working on old cars and was very proud of his 1955 Pontiac. Terry also collected beer cans. Survivors include Peggy Trask, daughter Angel Ashby, East Moline, son, Justin Trask, Silvis, "adopted daughter" Jessica Thomas, grandchildren; Justin Ashby II, Jordan Ashby and Jaden Ashby, sister and brother-in-law Vickie and Thad Luke, King City, CA, special friends Bob Reberry, Monte Lisenbee, Mario Almanza, Glenn Bergman and Angie and Mike at Dent Devil, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Nickie.
