Memorial services for Thelma Maxine Danner, 89, of East Moline, IL, will be 10 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Mrs. Danner died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hope Creek Activity Fund. Maxine Cooper was born July 2, 1922 in Galt, MO, to Oral Windsor and Ida Mae Sims Cooper. She married Guy F. Daniels in September of 1941. He died in 1971. She later married Jesse J. Danner in 1973. He died in 1999. She owned and operated 2 cafes and had managed a private elderly care home. Survivors include her son, Larry (Kathy) Daniels of Bucklin, MO; grandchildren, Colleen Dean of Woodhull, IL and Russel G. (Patricia) Daniels of Biggsville, IL; great grandchildren, Ryan Daniels, Nicholas Daniels, Nathan Daniels, and Jackie Brown; sister, Wilma Dzekunskas, Moline and brother Lindy W. (Barbara) Cooper, Rock Island. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, special niece, Denise Olson, sisters, Patricia Herkert and Jean LaFerrara.
