Theo Belle Lockhart, 78, Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Moline, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her home. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with burial at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to LifePath Hospice, Tampa, Fla. Theo Belle Beck was born Jan. 16, 1935, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Theodore J. and May G. Wiseman Beck. She married Joseph T. "Ted" Lockhart on July 14, 1962, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, East Moline. He died on Nov. 5, 2008. Theo was a graduate of Moline High School. She worked for many years in the insurance industry, retiring in 1995, after working for John Deere Insurance Company for 18 years. She had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, East Moline, the National Association of Insurance Personal and a member of the Underwriters, Quad Cities Chapter since 1982. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Andrea and James Goss, Rock Island; daughter-in-law, Susan T. DeFrancesco, Plant City, Fla.; sister, Lorna M. Cappaert, Rock Island; two grandsons, Geoffrey Lockhart, Milan, and Jesse Lockhart, Rock Island; five great-grandchildren; nephews, Daniel and Donald Cappaert; and nieces, Dianna and Debra Cappaert. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, John T. Lockhart; her parents; a sister, Anita K. Beck; and two stepdaughters, Janice M. Goles and Christine B. Burkhamer.
