Theresa M. King, 88, of East Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday January 24, 2023 at Hope Creek Nursing & Rehab, East Moline.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Theresa was born April 26, 1934, in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Leonard L. and Minnie (Bishop) St. Clair. She graduated from U.T.H.S. High School. Theresa and Willard J. King were united in marriage on August 31, 1951 in Williamstown, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2002.

She had worked at Moline Public Hospital, Moline, IL and later for Lexington House, East Moline for many years.

Theresa loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. In earlier years, she enjoyed bowling in area leagues and traveling.

Surviving are her daughter, Chris (Bill) Woodward, Moline; sons, Willard (Sheila) King, Jr., Moline, and Ronald (Kathi) King, Moline; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; sister-in-law, Rita St. Clair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Sarah Sharp and Dorothy Casper; brother, Leonard St. Clair; and brothers-in-law, Kermit Sharp and Bill Casper.
