Thomas Jacob Bert, 71, of Moline, passed away at home, Friday, February 5, 2021, after an extended illness.

Thomas was born in Moline, Il. February 27, 1949, son of Joseph and Vera (Walker) Bert. He married Deborah Pike on August 2, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nv. Thomas retired from Deere and Co. in 2009 where he was employed as an outside contractor. He enjoyed building race cars, drag racing and having fun with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah, of Moline, son, Jason Bert, Moline; sisters Kathleen Johnson, Geneseo Il., Patricia Callow, Moline, Il., Cindy Sperry, Bonner Springs, Ks., Carol Darby, Flower Mound,Tx., brother Daniel Bert, Tucson, Az., sister-in-law, Phyllis Bert, Hampton, Il., and grandchildren, Mason and Makayla Bert.; Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Bert.
