Memorial services for Thomas "Tom" Collis, 64, of East Moline, IL, will be 2 pm Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Mr, Collis passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Tom was born October 9, 1958, in Moline, IL, the son of David and Charmaine (Murphy) Collis. He was a graduate of United Township High School, Class of 1976. He started work as a janitor at John Deere Harvester and retired as a welder in 2007 after 30 years of service. Everybody who met Tom loved him. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. Kids and animals especially loved him.

Tom enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, playing cards, especially Texas Hold'em, gambling, riding his bicyle, playing Santa Claus for the kids, feeding squirrels, going to concerts. He also enjoyed watching TV, especially the "judge shows", True Stories, and the History Channel. He loved entertaining family and friends with cookouts. He was a Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Iowa Hawkeye and a NASCAR fan.

Survivors include the love of his life, Aundrea Graham, Davenport, IA; his mother Charmain Murphy, Rock Island, IL; his father, David Collis, East Moline; brother, Dave Collis Jr., East Moline; special friends, Archie Rose, Treasure Island, FL, Jeff Mahieu, Moline, Rickey Smith, Sulligent, AL, Bill Murphy, Silvis, IL, Mike Neels, Moline, and Eddie Claeys, Moline.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials my be made to the family.
