Thomas R. Dodds, 62, East Moline, died Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Graveside services will be 10 AM Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Estate, Moline, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct Military Honors. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Tom was born February 17, 1944 in Davenport, the son of Clyde and Kay (Luttrell) Dodds. He married Sandy Buller, June 24, 1967 in Moline. Tom served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing being with his family and the companionship of his dog Patches. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sandy, daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Mike Wolf, Milan, son David Dodds, East Moline, grandchildren Riley Dodds, Michael Wolf and Blake Wolf, his mother Kay Dodds, East Moline and sisters Jackie Debowski, Frisco, TX and Mary Evans, Rock Island.
