Funeral services for Thomas Rhodes III, 34, Rock Island, are 10 AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 3-7 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moline Boys Soccer Club. Tom died Friday, April 8, 2005. He was born January 25, 1971 in Moline, the son of Thomas and Susan (Hubbs) Rhodes Jr. He graduated from Moline High School in 1989. He married Misty Waller, May 30, 1998 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. He was Facilities Manager for Rhythm City Casino, Davenport. He coached for the Moline Boys Soccer Club. He enjoyed boating and his Ford Mustang. He enjoyed being with family and friends and was always there to help a friend in need. Survivors (and spouses) include his wife Misty, his parents Thomas and Susan Rhodes, Silvis, Grandmother Lois Dennis, Moline, sisters Traci (Pat) Linn, and Elizabeth (Rick) Bagley, both of Silvis, brother Joseph (April) Rhodes, Honolulu, HI, and nieces and nephews Brandon Converse, Brittany Smith, Jordan Rhodes Blanks, Abbi Rasmussen, Aden Rasmussen and Brianna Waller.
