Thomas Erdman Pearson, 70, Colona, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. Funeral services are 11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Tom was born on June 23, 1945 the son of Thomas and Lida (Erdman) Pearson. He grew up in Geneseo. He served in the National Guard. Tom retired as a union roofer. Tom enjoyed drag racing and raced his own car in Cordova, IL for many years. Survivors include siblings, Lida Paller, Silvis and Marilyn Popelier, Moline, nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law, Bill Norris, Colona. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Maureen Norris.
