Memorial services for Thomas 'Tommy' A. Pfister, 38, East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Pfister died May 11, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Tom was born June 1, 1973 at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo, IL. He attended Riverdale and East Moline Schools. He also attended culinary classes at Black Hawk College and online art classes. Besides loving his children with all his heart, Tom enjoyed cooking, playing guitar, watching his Kansas City Chiefs play, sketching pictures and going to see his favorite band (METALLICA) play in concert. Tom was employed by Wonder Bread until his injury. Survivors include his children, Tanner Pfister, East Moline ; Caidyn and Mason Pfister, Sherrard, IL; mother, Larane (Steve) Hanna of Marcella, AR; father, Michael Pfister of East Moline; sister, Shelly(John) Lamb of Port Byron, IL; brother, Shawn Pfister of East Moline; step-sisters, Debbie Hodges of Davenport, IA and Becky Hanna of Duluth, MN; maternal grandmother Virginia Daggett of Saffell, AR; niece, Breanah Lamb; nephews, Cody and Dillon Lamb all of Port Byron; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Eric Pfister, maternal grandfather, James Daggett; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Ruth Pfister. Memorials may be made to Tom's children at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
