Funeral services for Ron T. Reyna, 70, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 2:00-6:00PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:00PM. Ron died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA, Memorials may be made to Clarissa Cook Hospice House. Ron was born May 25, 1939 in Davenport, IA, the son of Manuel and Evelyn Negrete Reyna. They later moved to Silvis. He graduated from McKinley Grade School, Silvis, and United Township High School Class of 1957, where he enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and track. Ron married Delores "Lolly" Herrera on January 9, 1960 in Silvis. He retired from John Deere Harvester, East Moline, after 45 years of service. He had been an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Ron was a wonderful husband and father who was devoted to his family. He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed music especially Corridos , and playing the lottery. Survivors include his wife Lolly Reyna of East Moline; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Carol Reyna of Parrish FL, Jeff and Jennifer Reyna of Sarasota, FL, Alan Reyna and Lena Caponigro of South Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Michael Reyna, Julia Reyna, Jesse Reyna, and Josie Reyna; his mother, Evelyn Reyna of East Moline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Manuel Lopez of East Moline, Ruby and Charles Sandoval of East Moline, and Teresa Cruces of Elgin, IL; aunt, Mary Bribrisco of Des Moines, IA, many nieces and nephews.
