Funeral services for Thomas Williams, 52, Davenport, are 1PM Friday, January 28, 2011 at 1st Church of the Nazarene Church, 1010 North Clark Street, Davenport. Burial is in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 4-6PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Thomas died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Genesis East, Davenport. A memorial fund has been established. He was born October 30, 1958 in Rock Island, the son of John Henry and Etherline (Reid) Williams. He worked as a laborer in the area. Tom enjoyed playing the game of basketball and played at any opportunity. He also enjoyed repairing his treasures. Survivors include his children; Patricia Ruby and Chandra Howe both of Davenport, grandchildren KeNisha and Taliyah, his girlfriend Jackie Garrett, sisters Delores and Rebecca, and his adopted family the Murphy's. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
