Funeral services for Timothy "Tim" A. Girot, 52, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 9:30-11:00AM prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Girot died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Tim was born February 14, 1960 in Moline, IL, the son of William and Phyllis Bennett Girot. He graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, Class of 1978. He had worked for Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus and Cross Town Square, Silvis. He loved hunting and fishing. He was an avid Miami Dolphin Fan. Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Girot, East Moline; brothers, James Girot, Rapids City, IL, and Daniel Girot (fiancee, Tracey Wolf), Silvis; several nieces and nephews.
