Funeral services for Timothy G. Lievens Sr., 56, of Davenport, IA, will be 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Friday (today) and 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Lievens died Thursday July 1, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to his daughter's education fund. Tim was born January 28, 1954 in Moline, IL, the son of Gerald and Patricia (Walker) Lievens. He was a graduate of Alleman High School Class of 1972. He married Suzanne Walsh November 8, 1975 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. He retired from Deere & Company in 1992, with more than 20 years of service. He loved to travel. He enjoyed watching the Alleman Pioneers, New York Yankees, and Notre Dame. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his daughters, Kathleen Lievens of Walcott, IA, Jennifer Lievens of Walcott; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tiffany Lievens Jr. of Davenport, Matthew Lievens and his fiancée, Shannon Denklau of Davenport; grandson, Colin Lievens; parents, Jerry and Pat Lievens of East Moline; brothers and sister-in-law, Christopher and Mary Lievens of Sherrard, IL, Scott Lievens of East Moline.
