Timothy "Tim" R. Simcox, 64, of Bettendorf, IA, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to Hearltand Hospice or the Davenport Humane Society. Tim was born September 19, 1947 in Moline, IL, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gumber Simcox. He served in the US Air Force. He married Judy Anderson September 23, 1978 in Davenport, IA. He had been an Insurance Agent for Bankers Life and Casualty, Davenport for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Judy Simcox, Bettendorf; daughter, Erin Simcox, Davenport; sister, Donna Stewart, NC, brothers, Daniel (Colette) Simcox, Fort Pierce, FL, Dave (Corky) Simcox, East Moline, and Tom (Diane) Simcox, Carbon Cliff, IL.
