Todd A. Ripka, 59, of Coal Valley, IL, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at home.

A memorial visitation for family and friends will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline followed by Todd's final motorcycle ride to Franks Pizza, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of his wife, Pauline.

Todd was born April 15, 1967, in Moline, Illinois, to Larry and Sharron (True) Ripka. He married Pauline Terronez on June 19, 2026, in Coal Valley.

He was formerly employed at Crucible Steel, and most recently for Arconic.

Todd was a avid sports fan and enjoyed watching The Cubs, Bears, and Illini. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to music, and taking rides in the Jeep.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline, of Coal Valley; daughter, Kimber Soots, East Moline, stepchildren, Chance (Erika) and Zach Huston, and grandchildren, Grace, Brandt and Charlee Huston; parents, Larry and Sharron Ripka, East Moline; brother, Tim (Beth) Ripka, Ft. Myers, FL; niece, Brittany Ripka, Ft. Myers; and close friends, Lobo, Turtle, Timbo, Steve and Elmo; and his dog, Maverick.

Todd is preceded in death by his infant brother, Jeffrey Ripka; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Meletta Ripka, and maternal grandparents, Helen and Dick Baker; and his beloved dog, Darby.
