Toni L. Malatek, 65, East Moline, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. A Celebration of Toni's life will be held at a later date. Toni Baldwin was born on May 22, 1948 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Arnold and Corleen (Schnoor) Baldwin. She graduated from Camanche High School. She married David Malatek in 2000. She had been working in many capacities at Jacobsen Warehouse, East Moline. Toni was a member of Crescent Lake Club, and FOE 1839. She enjoyed fishing, cooking with her grandkids and vacationing to Alaska. Survivors include her husband Dave, granddaughter Autumn, children B.J. (Kris) Pruett, Wadsworth, OH, and Tina Pruett, Aurora, IL, step children Troy (Phaedra) Malatek, Aurora, IL, Tracy (Dave) Everett, Indianola, IA, and Tricia (Jamie) Wilson, Ely, IA, eight grandchildren and two great grandsons, and her siblings, Terry (Zetty) Baldwin, Clinton, IA, Vicki (Bob) Kassel, Camanche, IA and Arnie (Kris) Baldwin, Ft. Myers, FL, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, special uncle Glenn "Skinny" Plummer and dear friend Carol Dykema.
