Traci Sue Threlkeld, 57, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, at her residence. Per her wishes cremation will be accorded and no services will be held.

Traci was born on August 5, 1969, in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of Craig and Rosetta Peiffer. She worked as a CNA, activities personnel, and housekeeping at various nursing facilities around the Quad Cities and in Geneseo, where she was raised. Traci enjoyed everything art related, especially doing crafts. Traci loved going to the farmer’s market with her friends and having a good coffee at Dunkin Donuts. She took frequent trips to Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby, and could be found watching the birds or being with her cats and new puppy. Traci was kind hearted and selfless, would always lend a helping hand to anybody who needed assistance, and enjoyed caring for others. She was an excellent cook and baker. Traci would cook and bake for the nurse bizarre and sold her special pumpkin bars, pies, and casseroles. Her deep love for her daughter and daughter-in-law defined her life, and the bonds they shared were a source of immeasurable joy for her. Traci took great pride in nurturing those relationships and found happiness in the love and support they offered one another. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her furbabies.

Traci is survived by her daughter, Courtney (Makayla) Threlkeld; sister, Tara Kroll; nieces and nephew, Danielle, Jake, Ashley, and Haley; and other close family members, Christina (Jerry) Johnson, Bradon Danielson, Brittany Ringer, Morgan Ringer, Mary Sherrard, Ariana Luna, Josiah Danielson, Amaya Luna, Amelia Luna, and Waylon Langel. She was preceded in death by her father, Craig Peiffer and nephew, Hakan Sacakli.
