Graveside services for Una I. Studebaker, 103, of Moline, IL, will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 pm Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside services should be at the funeral home by 1:30 pm. Mrs Studebaker died Thursday April 7, 2016, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Una Lind was born April 2, 1913, in Astoria, IL, the daughter of Leroy and Iva Pearl Curless Lind. She married Joseph Hoogerwerf. He died. She later married Milton Studebaker. He died January 1, 1987. Una enjoyed bowling and playing rolle bolle. She had been a member of the East End Boulders Club, Moline, and their rolle bolle team won the the state championship one year. She loved flowers and watching birds. Survivors include her son, Terry Hoogerwerf, New Boston, IL; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; special nephew, Jim Carter; special friend, Sandy Mueller, Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, daughter; Linda (Joe) Claus; daughter-in-law, Beverly Hoogerwerf. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
