Vera Francis Suhl, 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at her home in Cherry Valley, AR, with her son at her side. At Vera's request, graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 28, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, IL.

Vera Bullock was born March 18, 1930, in Cherry Valley, the daughter of Jesse H. and Betty (Phillips) Bullock. She married Jennings R. Anderson Sr. November 11, 1947. She later married Richard Suhl in April of 1971. Richard passed away August 7, 2007.

Vera moved back to Cherry Valley after Richard's retirement to her family's land to enjoy the peace and quiet of the hills. She loved watching the deer feed in her front yard. Vera was very happy to have shared her last Mother's Day with both her sons.

Survivors include her sons, Carl E. Anderson and James H. (Rita) Anderson; grandchildren, Lisa (Tyson) Fulton and James H. (Amanda) Anderson II; great grandchildren, Lucas and Tanner Fulton; sister, Edith (Dan) Pearson; special sister-in-law, Marge Bullock; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jennings R. Anderson Jr; and siblings, Levi Bullock, Roy Bullock, Marshall Bullock, Stella Fuller, Veda Jarrett, and Bill Bullock.
