Visitation for Verda A. Hatten, 95 of Silvis, IL, will be 4:00-6:00PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Private graveside services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mrs. Hatten died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Aspen Rehab and Health Care, Silvis. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Verda Greenwood was born November 6, 1913 in Hooppole, IL, the daughter of Henry and Mille (Goembel) Greenwood. She married Charles Hatten August 18, 1932 in Hooppole. He died September 11, 1999. She had been a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her: daughter, Betty Ward of East Moline; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sharon Hatten of Moline; grandchildren Randall Ward, Scott Ward, Blair Hatten and Krista Hatten; great grandchildren, Peyton, Brooke, Kevin, and Jimmy.
