Veryl Victoria Adams, 85, formerly of Geneseo, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas with her loving husband at her side. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 10 AM until 11 AM at Van Hoe funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Graveside services will follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery at 11:30 AM. Tudy, as she was affectionately known, was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her. Tudy was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Vernon Schuetzler and her step-mother, Lois Schuetzler. Tudy is survived by her husband of 38 years, John K. Adams; step-children, Margaret Cobb, Richard Adams, Michael Adams and Jeffery Adams; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her brother, Dean Hungate, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In accordance with Tudy's wishes she has been cremated. A Memorial may be made the First United Methodist Church, 1225 Boca Chica Blvd, Brownsville.
