Victoria R. Lopez, 88, Silvis, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3PM. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Victoria Sandoval was born on March 23, 1929 in Silvis, the daughter of Jack and Ladislada (Rangel) Sandoval. She married Alfonso Lopez on April 3, 1948. He passed in 1996. Victoria enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, and working in the garden. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and served on the funeral luncheon committee. Victoria loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Laura (Bruce) Stout, East Moline, Al (Cindy) Lopez, Silvis and Maria Lopez Rock Island, grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Budak, Eric (Amy) Lopez, Vicki (Shawn) Kobel, Jeromy (Brooke) Lopez, Stephen (Andrea) Stout, Marissa (Bubba) Johnson, and Joanna Lopez (Lindsay Thompson), great grandchildren, Thomas, Emily, Matthew, Olivia, Austin, Addison, Charlie, Ashton, Ellie, Natalie, Jaxson and Abigail, siblings, Frank (Teresa) Sandoval, Moline, Beatrice (Florencio) Puentes, Silvis, Mary Lopez, Silvis, Phil (Manuela) Bonilla, Silvis and Pep (Pauline) Sandoval, East Moline and a sister-in-law Laura Sandoval, Silvis. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Sam Sandoval and Eloise Montez.
