Victoria Perez McKnight, 88, East Moline, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Heartland Nursing Home, Moline. Private family services will be held. Victoria was born on May 6, 1927 in Moline, the first of 11 children born to Francisco and Refugio "Cuca" Gonzalez Perez. She attended East Moline Schools. She had been employed at John Deere Harvester, East Moline and Servus Rubber, Rock Island. She married Cyriel Verstraete and he preceded her in death, She married John Potter, he preceded her in death. She married Bill McKnight and they moved to Kansas and together they ran the operations of the farm they rented. She also worked and retired from Dolly Madison in Kansas. Victoria also volunteered, helping special needs children. After the death of Bill, she returned to the Quad Cities. She enjoyed traveling throughout the US and had visited Europe. Survivors include her sons, Robert Verstraete, Georgia, Jay Potter, Pennsylvania, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her special angels, Michelle Farmer and Lisa DeClerck, siblings, Eva, (Fred) Savala, East Moline, Julie Greenwood, East Moline and Mary (Augie) Ruiz, San Jose, CA. And many nieces and nephews.
