Funeral services for Victoria Terronez, 93, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 am Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Thursday at the Van Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:00 pm and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary will end the evening with a service at the conclusion of the visitation. Victoria died Friday, July 5, 2019 at her home. Victoria Arguello was born October 6, 1925, in Bettendorf, IA, the daughter of Seferino and Tadea Gomez Arguello. She married Albert Terronez October 27, 1945 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Albert passed away May 6, 2014. In her earlier years she worked at the former Kresge's Davenport and the Daily Dispatch, Moline. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing bingo, a good game of canasta, and she was a die-hard Cub's fan. Victoria also enjoyed a life membership at the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8890. Survivors include her children; Alvina Lindemann, Moline, IL, Elena Reuter-Terronez, East Moline, IL, Michael (Susan) Terronez of St. Charles, IL, Theresa (Charles) Piwowar, Fort Wayne, IN, Daniel Terronez, East Moline, Albert (Lee Ann)Terronez, Grayslake, IL, and Alex (Tracy) Terronez, Spring, TX, grandchildren; Sean Reuter, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Benjamin and Tyler Terronez: great grandchildren, Lillian Reuter and Jeffrey Vincent Terronez Jr; sisters, Savina Negrete, CA, and Tillie Miller, Bettendorf; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Vincent J. Terronez; son-in-law, Bill Lindemann; grandchildren, Andrea and Anthony Piwowar; siblings, Michael, Frank, David, and Jesse Arguello, Josephine Mendoza, Stephanie Gutierrez, Mary Ellen Sims, Modesta Hayes, and Mary Dahms.
