Funeral services for Viola "Vi" Stulir, 95, of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00PM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until Noon Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Stulir died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Vi Smith was born May 31, 1917 in Bettendorf, IA, the daughter of Jess and Ida Lamb Smith. She married Joseph J. Stulir September 5, 1936. He died February 25, 1994. Vi had been a loving homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and cooking. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had been a lifetime member of the former St. Mary Catholic Church, East Moline, and the Illini Auxiliary. Survivors include her son, Dennis (Kathy) Stulir, East Moline; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
