Virginia L. Doran , 78, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

A Celebration of Life gathering in remembrance of Virginia L. Doran, 78, of Bettendorf, IA, will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Mercado, 423 12th St., Moline, IL, hosted by her family.

Virginia was born May 11, 1945, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Dolores and Soledad Aguirre Vallejo. She married Robert Doran November 16, 1990, in Las Vegas, NV. In her younger days she was a hairdresser. She loved painting and dancing, more than anything she loved her family and friends. She will be remembered for her charisma and her beauty.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Doran, Bettendorf; children, Mark (Tammi) Doran, East Moline, IL, Claudine (Mike) Manor, Janesville, WI, Angela Doran Osburn (Casey Watters), East Moline, and Lisa (Russel) Gunnink, LeClaire, IA; grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Snyder, Chandler Osburn (Jon Werner), Jordan Jackson (Isaiah Ochoa), Kelly Osburn (Emily Bloomer), Madison Manor, Maxwell Manor; and Lelan Gunnink; great grandchildren, Kaleb and Morgan Goodlow; 2 brothers; brother-in-law; lots of nieces and nephews; and her 2 dogs, Billy and Bella.

A special thank you to her caregivers for taking such great care of her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pat Luna; and brother, Leo Vallejo.
