Virginia "Ginni" L. Davis , 75, of Hampton, IL, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at her home in Hampton.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Private graveside services will be at a later date at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ginni was born September 12, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa, a daughter of Darwin and Laurentza (Edwards) Bichel. She married Dennis G. Davis on August 26, 1967. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1995.

She was a bus driver for the East Moline school district for 12 years.

Ginni was a member of Geneseo Art League and Past President of the Blackhawk Area Saddle Club. She enjoyed drawing, painting, horses and visits to Lake Okoboji, Iowa.

Surviving are her life partner and companion of 24 years, Andy Anderson, Hampton, IL; grandchildren, Shayleen Davis, Dennis Davis, Rebecca Davis, and Victoria Davis; great grandson, Ryker; siblings, Marsha (Gary) Sanders, Moline, IL, Barbara Bichel, East Moline, IL, Gloria (Greg) Flynn, East Moline, and Doug Bichel, Rock Island; many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Ginni was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; son, Jonathan Davis; and her parents, Darwin and Laurentza.
