Wayne R. Woods, 61, East Moline, lost his battle with cancer on April 2, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Graveside services are 11:30 AM Friday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 9-11 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. A memorial fund has been established. Wayne was born January 14, 1951 in Moline. He graduated from UTHS. Wayne worked as an alignment mechanic in the Quad City Area. He enjoyed fishing and loved goose hunting. Wayne served in the US National Guard. Survivors include his sister Gail and brother David, both of East Moline. He is preceded in death by his parents.
