Willadean Annette (Huffman) Hines, 87, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at her home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island.

Willadean Huffman was born on October 14, 1938, to Clarence and Clarissa (Stutzman) Huffman. She graduated from Moline High School in 1956.

She married Marvin (Mike) Hines on October 21st, 1956. They were married for over 65 years before Mike preceded her in death on September 5, 2022.

Willadean was a member of Victory Baptist Church in East Moline. She previously was a member at Believer’s Baptist Church in Coal Valley as well as the Moline Gospel Temple.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband and visited all 50 states.

Willadean will be missed by her surviving family: daughter, Dana (Dan) Anderson, son, Paul (Mary) Hines; grandchildren, Kelly Sikkema, Steven Hines, Colleen Weber, Taylor VanTryon, Jacob Anderson, Sarah McVay and Jason Anderson, and great-grandchildren, Owen, Nora, Jaycob Jr, Leah, and Jayson.

Willadean was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Darren Hines; grandson, Adam Hines; sisters, Clarissa Wilson, Carlotta Huffman and Marceline Hines; brother Arthur Stevens.
